The PMRW primer contains two important instruments to increase Filipino migrant workers’ awareness and knowledge of their rights.

The primer has two parts: the first part outlines the provisions of the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995 (or Republic Act 8042); the second part presents the rights of migrant workers and their families covered by the Migrant Workers Convention. Although the primary audience is directed at Filipino migrant workers, we hope other migrant workers will benefit from it as well. In line with this, the primer is packaged in two languages, Pilipino and English.
